The legend of the Nine Dragons hails back to at least the 4th century BCE, the origin of Daoism 道. In 1244 CE, during the Song Dynasty 南宋, the skillful artist Chén Róng 陈容 painted the magnificent Nine Dragons Scroll 九龍圖卷.
